I've had 2 rollerfeeders now for 2yrs and can attest they are THE best product on the market for keeping squirrels out! The birdseed stays dry and there is no waste. So glad to hear about the red in the suet feeder.
We have had one of your feeders for 3-4 years. It works so well that my husband requested another. The bird feeders are his project, and he says that it is so much better in all respects that he never wants another of the tube type feeders again! The tube feeders seed gets clumped and moldy at the bottom, and the baffle we have over the top gets messed by birds and carries "all kinds of bacteria!" (He is a biochemist.) Your feeder is easy to fill, keeps the seed dry (even in wind and rain), allows the birds to empty it completely and stays clean of bird droppings. If seed falls to the ground, the quail, juncos and towhees
gladly pick up.
We are customers forever, so keep up the good work! It is worth the initial cost, since we have replaced the tube feeder at least yearly at about $20 a pop. And the squirrels don't even try anymore, though it was funny to watch when they did!

quickly—probably because of visibility from all that plexi-glass (polycarbonate).
If you designed these you are an engineering genius. My suet feeder was COVERED this a.m. at

DONE IT!!!! I really had my doubts after trying so many
different versions of squirrel proof feeders. But I have to 'hand it to you'...You did a
MARVELOUS job. I hung the feeder when it came in early December. The squirrels tried
for a couple of days, and were unsuccessful. It took the birds over a month to use it
though. But now, in mid February the small birds are on it regularly, and the squirrels won't even

I bought two of these. They are amazing, and the ONLY feeder that my aggressive squirrels cannot get

Mine has been up for a few

These really, really, really ARE squirrel-proof. I've had mine a year and no squirrel has found a way to get to the seed. If you have a major squirrel population, these feeders pay for themselves in a month or two.
It's the dead of winter here in central Jersey, and it's wonderful to be able to feed our non-migrating birds through the miserable, cold weather. And it's even more wonderful that they get to eat all the food, and the squirrels don't. I have 2 feeders, and both have been very active since I got them last summer. Like John from Massachusetts, my squirrels are also Ivy League-educated, and they figured out how to get into (and destroy) every other feeder I've had. But these defeat them--- they learned VERY quickly that they would fall off, and they didn't like it. The feeders are safe and intact, and the birds flock like mad for breakfast and lunch.
These are, without question or doubt, THE BEST bird feeders out there. They are also indeed 100% squirrel proof. I'm amazed, delighted, and I can't praise you enough. I've also recommended RollerFeeders to many others.

Greetings from St. Louis, Missouri. While I don't have any pictures to share with you (maybe someday I'll learn how to do that), my bird feeder is constantly filled with throngs of house finches, and occasionally cardinals, bluejays and robins. I have to refill the feeder everyday with black oil sunflower seeds. It's such a pleasure to sit and watch them. It took about two months before they found it, but how they do love it! And the squirrels are no longer a problem!
I did "stretch" a bit on the price as I thought it expensive for my budget. But, it has been worth every single penny! I show it to all my friends who come over and they enjoy watching the birdies also.

I want to tell you that I hung my
two seed feeders and suet feeder up Friday morning, and starting Saturday I have perched myself in front of my window starting at near dawn. It has taken several days for the 8 squirrels to really get brave enough to attack them, but yesterday and today they could not stop trying to get at it from all directions. YOU ARE A GENIUS!!! WHY

It has been especially intriguing to watch the chickadees and finches discover the joy of feeding from the two new roller feeders. They sing out very excitingly which literally brings the angry squirrels from far distances to try AGAIN to conquer the feeders. What a hoot.
Currently there
are six different feeders in my garage that all claimed to be squirrel proof. Obviously these squirrels must benefit from living
only a few miles from Harvard University, since they've outwitted every one of them--and I have pictures of them in the act to prove
it. Only the Rollerfeeder is still out there, guaranteeing the birds access to food without competition or finding an empty tray.
Finally!! A squirrel-proof bird feeder that really is squirrel proof!! Really. It's hysterical to watch the squirrels try, and try again, for some of that tasty bird food - only to fail! So funny!
Yes I ordered 2 sent to my house. We wanted another one and I ordered one for our neighbor as a house warming gift. She saw ours and loved it. The other one is to be sent to my husbands 89 year old aunt in New Hampshire.
These are the most awesome bird feeders. We have tons of squirrels and they have been very creative with our prior feeders. If they couldn't get on them they would chew the cord. Even wire didn't stop them. It's so amazing that they go all around the roller feeder and don't even try to jump on. We also have a large population of huge Blue Jays, or, as my hubby calls them "bully
birds. They still fly all around but they can't keep the beautiful cardinals, robins, wrens, chickadees, mockingbirds, etc away from the feeder. The Blue Jays and Doves pick the scraps off the ground instead of hogging the feeder.

This is my second feeder. I loved the first one so much I
brought it back to my home in Idaho,
it foils grey squirrels there too. Now I need a replacement at my lake cabin.
The feeder is fabulous….it ACTUALLY WORKS with the little grey critters….you built a better – well, not a better mousetrap, a better squirrel proof feeder. My husband is amazed! It actually allows us to relax a little more, now that we’re not chasing squirrels out of/off of the feeder we replaced.

I'm pleased to share that my now 5-year old (?) roller feeder has survived without a blemish at least four black bear attacks! I've only had to reshape the hanger, which keeps getting stretched. Might even have to replace it eventually. When it was brought down, apparently with some force, the feeder must have just emptied out, satisfying the bear, and doesn't have so much as a scratch on it. And the squirrels have pretty much just given up.
I love my Roller Feeder. Not only can the squirrels not get to the feed, but it solved my problem with nuisance birds. Nothing larger than a cardinal or small woodpecker even bothers to try anymore. The Roller Feeder has more than paid for itself in feed savings!
We hung our new feeder under a roof overhang quite near a kitchen window. Possibly because of the location, it took several weeks before we got bird customers in any quantity, but the squirrels found the
feeder in one day. Scorecard: birds-all kinds;

I have not seen a squirrel get a single seed from the Roller Feeder. They gave up in extreme frustration after awhile, but every time there is a new batch of babies, they try their luck. They’re too small to spin the housing, but try as they may, they can’t get their little heads between the bars! My seeds are safe and so is a lot of my money.

Gotta add my 2-cents worth here. Not without skepticism, I bought the Roller Feeder last August
and when it arrived, I bought a 50lb bag of black oil sunflower seeds. In past years, with other “squirrel proof feeders,” I’ve gone through at least 200lbs of seed, the squirrels having figured it out within 12 hours of hanging any feeder. Not this one! And it’s not for lack of trying. Once, I thought I was watching a squirrel who was going to crack the code, but he/she ended up completely failing. Now, in the middle of March, I still have about 1/3rd of my original bag of seed, so the savings is significant! I can’t recommend the Roller Feeder highly enough! It’s paid for itself in what I’ve NOT spent on feeding squirrels.

This feeder really works. In my area (Ohio), we need starling proof feeders, not just squirrel and raccoon proof feeders because flocks of starlings will show up and empty a feeder in minutes. The

Just thought I would share this bit of info. I purchased my feeder a few months ago. I received the feeder and upon opening the box I realized that it truly was a quality product!! I appreciate all things of good quality and not cheap imports, kudos on being an American made product.
I installed the feeder and added whole sunflower kernels to attract the birds, I initially noticed that the birds didn’t come until about a week later and now they are all over the place. I have also had the privilege of watching a few squirrels attempt to steal some food but their attempts were thwarted. I also noted that I didn’t have the mass of seeds all over the ground like my last, it seems, dozen or so feeders (all destroyed by squirrels). I told my father-in-law about the feeder, showed him your website and he ordered one as well.

another feeder because there is not enough room for the birds that currently frequent the one feeder that is in place. The one feeder is
mounted on a 4x4 post, and the next one will be mounted on the same post, just on the other side.
Everyone that sees the feeder says that the design is genius, and although I have
squirrels, they have learned that they are wasting their time with this feeder. My
biggest problems are grackles and pigeons. They are also quickly deterred as well. So
thank-you for a wonderful product. I have tried multiple feeders over the years, and
have wasted countless dollars on bird seed, only to end up feeding the scrounger birds instead of the little
birds. The Roller Feeder is the best feeder money can buy, and folks will quickly
understand why, once they purchase one. So once again, thank-you for a wonderful product.
We've had our Rollerfeeder just a few weeks and it is already the best backyard investment we made. It has defeated all the gray squirrels and raccoons that used to wipe us out.
Using the recommended feed mix of 50% sunflower hearts and 25% sunflower seeds and safflower seed has attracted a wide variety of north Georgia birds. The Cardinals were the last to adapt.
I do recommend the metal hopper as the birds like to pull their favorite individual seeds through the openings rather than the tray.
I just want to share this picture of your bird feeder and a Cardinal. It took a long time for the Cardinal to venture onto your feeder but it was well worth the wait.

Alright, I've had my rollerfeeder for almost 4 weeks now. I have quite a
few grey squirrels as well as a red squirrel. NONE, even the small red squirrel, have been able to beat this feeder!!! The red squirrel has
tried a few times, but can never get to the seed. The greys have tried as well, and every now and then, they do try again, but still, they cannot
get to the seed! I caught one grey squirrel one morning, hanging onto the metal bars upside-down, ferociously biting the metal bars because he was
soooo frustrated!! I have to admit, that I am beaming with pride at
beating these guys - lol!! I especially love that I don't need to
purchase any other "anti-squirrel" stuff like baffles and what-not.
I have my feeder in a tamarack tree. There is a branch below it, about 11/2 to 2 feet from the bottom of the feeder. The squirrels have attempted
to jump up to the feeder from that branch below it, but to no avail!! Haha!!

Well, let's hear about the products that you've bought that actually work! Did you buy it with the feeling that it probably wouldn't work, and were amazingly surprised when it did??!
I'll start. I love feeding the birds - just love it. But I recently had to get rid of my pole-feeder due to bears and/or raccoons tearing it down I learned that you could still feed during the summer months as long as it wasn't suet (I think that's what drew out my "attacker") and the hanger was at least 10 feet off the ground and 6 feet away from a tree trunk. But I feared that no matter what feeder I got to hang in a tree, squirrels would be its nemesis. I've heard all the claims and seen all the videos about feeders claiming to be squirrel-proof. I've seen the videos of the ones that use batteries and spin the squirrels off the bottom. And I've seen the videos of squirrels beating that system too.
So, when I found this product, the RollerFeeder, I was dubious of its claims to be squirrel proof. But, after viewing some videos and really thinking about the product's design, I figured I'd try it - especially with the guarantee it came with (capture video of a squirrel
leisurely eating from it = money back and get to keep feeder).
Not ONE squirrel has been able to feed from it - including the nimble, tiny, agile, light-weight red squirrel - MY nemesis The grey squirrels (five total) all tried to eat from it once, and that was it. The red squirrel tried two times, and that was it. My birds are happily eating, while the squirrels clean up the stuff that's been dropped. This thing actually IS squirrel proof!! I HIGHLY recommend it (unless of course you want to feed the squirrels ).

I purchased your Roller Feeder from you a little over a year ago and it's absolutely great! No gray squirrels, no red squirrels, and finally NO RACCOONS!
It would be great if you adapted your Roller Feeder bin for a suet block with a mechanism to somehow snap open or slide open your cage for easy suet access.

I wanted to tell you that I love my RollerFeeders. I ordered two in late August – RF2 and RF2 Suet. I live in Northeastern PA and was constantly battling with the squirrels in my yard because I live in the woods. I tried everything before, buckets over the posts, milk jugs over the poles, baffles, nothing worked. I was going thru birdseed, suet, and sunflower seeds like there was no tomorrow. It’s been about 2 months since I’ve installed my feeders and the squirrel population has greatly diminished, I think they gave
up. They now have to eat what’s been dropped on the ground. It did take the woodpeckers a while to get used to the feeder, but now they love it. I only fill the sunflower seed feeder about every 3-4 days, and the suet has not emptied yet. I can’t thank you enough for this great product. I am now thinking about purchasing a feeder for regular seed,
the cost I am saving in food has more than paid for these wonderful feeders.
